Camera access
Camera scanning requires permission from your browser. ToolPikz requests camera access only when you start the scanner. You can revoke permission using your browser settings.
Local QR processing
The scanner is designed to decode camera frames and selected images locally in your browser. Images should not be uploaded merely to decode a QR code.
Local history and settings
When enabled, scan history and scanner preferences are stored in your browser's local storage. You can clear history from the History page or clear site data through your browser.
Third-party libraries
This site may load open-source JavaScript libraries from a CDN. Your browser may make requests to that CDN to retrieve those library files. Review the CDN provider's policies if this matters to you.
External websites
QR codes can point to websites controlled by third parties. ToolPikz does not control those sites or their privacy practices. Review a destination before opening it.

This page may be updated when the application or its data practices change.
