Simple terms for using the QR Scanner and Generator.
Appropriate use
Use ToolPikz for lawful, legitimate QR scanning and generation. You are responsible for the content you scan, generate, share or open.
User-controlled QR content
QR codes may contain arbitrary text or destinations. ToolPikz does not verify that QR content is accurate, safe, current or trustworthy.
External links
When you choose to open a URL from a QR code, you are leaving ToolPikz. External websites are controlled by their respective operators and may have their own terms, privacy policies and security risks.
No guarantee
The application is provided as a practical browser utility. Camera hardware, browser APIs, QR image quality, third-party destinations and other dependencies can affect results. No guarantee is made that every QR code or device will work.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ToolPikz is not responsible for losses or damage arising from use of the scanner, generated QR codes, scanned content or third-party destinations. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the application evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes use under the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
